If there is an existing water meter that serves the home you are moving in to, we
need the following items from you:
1.) Completed User Agreement
2.) Photo Identification
3.) Copy of your property deed showing your name listed as the owner OR a copy of your Rental or lease agreement
4.) Deposit and membership fee
If there is no meter that serves the home you are moving in to, we need the following
items from you:
1.) Wastewater Permit Recommendation from Mississippi Department of Health
2.) Completed User Agreement
3.) Photo ID
4.) Copy of property deed if you are property owner OR copy of your rental or
lease agreement
5.) Deposit and membership fee
6.) Tie-In fee or Tap fee
7.) Road bore fees if the main water line is across the road from your location.
State aid road requires a professional road boring company and engineer so
this can get costly.
1.) The person whose name is on the water account must call Cason Water 662-256-2442 to have water service discontinued.
2.) You will need to provide a forwarding mailing address for a final bill to be mailed to OR if a refund of your deposit is due to you, it will be mailed to the forwarding address. Refund checks are only cut once a month.
- In the toilet. Check all toilets, even toilets that are not used often.
- Under the kitchen or bathroom sink.
- Water spigots outside. If it is cold, these can freeze and burst.
- Water heater. Sometimes they are leaking, and we don’t notice because they are

No. Cason Water does not install water lines from the meter to the home and
cannot locate the water line.
No. Cason Water is only responsible for leaks to the meter. Any leaks past the meter, in the yard or in the home are the customer’s responsibility. If you cannot fix the leak yourself, we advise customers to turn off their water meter and call a plumber immediately.
Your water heater may need to be flushed. We recommend that you consult your water heater’s manufacturer for advice or call a professional.

All water bill payments are due by the 10 th of each month. After the 10 th , Cason
Water adds a 10% late fee.
Typically, we mail your bill but if you would like to receive your bill by email,
please call the office 662-256-2442.
1.) Cash
2.) Direct Draft. If draft is declined, there is an additional fee for declined draft.
3.) Check. If check is returned, there is an additional fee for returned check.
4.) Money Order
5.) Debit card or credit card. Additional fees will apply and will show as a
separate amount on your debit or credit card statement. This fee is not
charged by Cason Water and is not refundable.

7.) There is a secure drop box at the office for after-hour payments.
A non-payment lock fee is immediately applied to your account once the meter is locked. All unpaid charges plus the non-payment lock fee must be paid before the meter is unlocked. No checks will be accepted for payment on a meter that has been locked for non-payment. If you pay your bill by 2:30 p.m., your meter will be unlocked the same day but if paid after 2:30 p.m. your meter will be unlocked on the following business day.
