Cason Water District

Water outage update April 8th: For the following roads Booth Cemetery, Cardsville Church, Deer Hill, Enon Church, Green, Hopewell Keys, Powell, Thorn, Van Buren and Wren. We have several crews in your area working to restore your water. MS Rural Water is assisting in the problem as well as other water districts. We will have the water restored ASAP.

Cason Water Precautionary 48 hour Boil Water Notice April 6th; due to installation of a large flow meter on main water line on the South End of Carolina Road: The following roads need to boil their water for the next 48 hours:

Bailey, Jo Ritter, Palmer, Powell, Van Buren/Carolina, Carolina Road South end only, Booth Cemetery, Cardsville Church, Deer Hill, Enon Church, Green , Hopewell Keys, Thorn, Van Buren, Wren and surrounding side roads in this area.

Tomorrow, Wednesday April 7th, at approximately 9am, a Flow Meter is being installed on the main water line at the south end of Carolina Road between Bailey Road and Hwy 371 South. The water will be turned off in this area for approximately 1 hour. After the Flow Meter is placed, we will flush the lines. This may cause low pressure and possible dingy water. Please be careful washing clothes. This may not affect your area.

Road 226 and 1205 area: Due to a minor repair the water will be turned off for approximately an hour. When the repair is complete we will flush the line this may cause low pressure and dingy water. Please be careful washing clothes

March 18th: Cason water will be installing a new FIRE HYDRANT on Van Buren Road this morning. The water will be turned off for approximately an hour, then we will flush the lines. Please be careful washing clothes.

March 17th: Cason/Bigbee area the precautionary boil water notice due to installation of new FIRE HYDRANTS in the area has been lifted.

March 16th: Cason/Bigbee area precautionary boil water notice for the next 24 hours or until notified due to installation of new FIRE HYDRANTS in the area.

March 16th (1:00pm) Cason water will be installing a new FIRE HYDRANT in your area @ Liberty Church Road/ Old Hwy 6 . The water will be turned off for several hours, then we will flush the lines. Please be careful washing clothes. Roads that will be turned off Old 6, Fellowship, Bickerstaff, Gray, Liberty Road and a portion of Hwy 371 South.

Cason/Bigbee Area: March 16th approximately (7:30 AM – until job is complete) Cason water will be installing new FIRE HYDRANTS in your area. The water will be turned off for several hours, then we will flush the lines. Please be careful washing clothes.

February 19th: All customers please be conservative with water usage also check around your homes for water leaks. If you need to turn off your meter and do not know where the meter is or how to turn off please call 397-0183 or 213-1980 or 255-3927
